The Diva Life
Being a mother, I am no stranger to the ups and downs of everyday stress. Thankfully, I am able to keep things balanced through regular exercise and my close relationship with God.
Five years ago, my life was very different. I was married and living a somewhat
peaceful existence in Colorado. Suddenly, without notice, my whole world got turned upside
down, I soon found
myself divorced
with two kids, and living in Georgia with my younger sister. Well you can say that I have come a long way baby! The road was rough, but I eventually saw the light at the end of the tunnel. Through my faith and my willingness to never give up. I finally acheived true peace in my life. My journey isn’t much different from many other women, and I know that there are others out there who have suffered far more than I have, but the key is not to let your situation define you. No matter how good or bad it gets, don’t get discouraged. Remember, all things work together. It’s also never okay to throw in the towel. Winston Churchill once said, “If you are
going through hell, keep going.” Challenges are placed in your path to make you stronger, so
that you will be
ready for bigger and better things when they come along.
Remember, when life throws lemons at a Brand New Diva, she doesn’t make lemonade—She
makes lemon drop martinis!
